Carolyn “Carrie” Grow serves as Chair / President / Founder of GFH-E, responsible for collaborative human development, andfor ensuring the organization fulfills its mission with sound governance. Carrie is also a director for business endeavors of Grey Fox Holdings, LLC, the primary benefactor for GFH-E. Ms. Grow has over 30 years’ experience as a leader for sustainable development in 30+ countries of Latin America, Africa and Asia. She is fluent in English and Spanish, experienced in geopolitics, finance; law, negotiations and synergistic outcomes; and has served over 40 years as a business executive, fundraiser, and real estate entrepreneur. Carrie was CEO for CHOICE Humanitarian, CEO / Co-Founder of Engage Now Foundation and Ascend Alliance. She is Founder of epicHEART Global LLC, Chair / President of epicHEART Adventures, collaborating on global poverty, and epicHEART Healing, focused on life-threatening disease.
Carolyn was honored as the Romney Institute’s Administrator of the Year, as a Freedom’s Foundation Hero, International Franchise Assoc. Franchisee of the Year, and “One of 30 Businesswomen to Watch” by Utah Business. She was recognized as a National Harry S. Truman Scholar, Utah’s Sterling Scholar in Speech & Drama, National Champion Forensic Manager, Concertmaster and Soloist with Symphonies. Carrie is an avid cyclist & adventurer, who founded the Women United Team. She is an Advanced Canyoneer, Wilderness First Responder, passionate about life, relationships, and improving the world. Ms. Grow has U.S. and Canadian Citizenship, and lives the motto her parents, Stew & Sarah Grow gave to BYU: “Enter to Learn; Go Forth to Serve.” She is blessed with two children, their spouses, six grandchildren, five siblings and their posterities.

As Secretary for GFH-E, Mr. Whitchurch is responsible for ensuring proper organizational records, fostering communication and meetings. Jeff is also Chief of Staff for Grey Fox Holdings, LLC, the primary benefactor for GFH-E. As such, he is responsible for GFH Management, LLC, the administrator of processes and personnel to meet objectives and goals of all GFH entities. Mr. Whitchurch is responsible to manage performance metrics, and engage with stakeholders at every level. Jeff draws upon a broad and eclectic range of experiences, including international relations, project and program management, contract negotiation and administration, the practice of law, energy and natural resources.
Jeff is a 20-year veteran of the Army National Guard, where he had opportunities to interface with civilian and military personnel at all levels. Mr. Whitchurch has extensive experience in SaaS and software licensing and is an avid lover of technology. He spent eight years of his life living internationally, loves to travel, and speaks fluent English, French, Spanish and some Portuguese. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming. He is an attorney admitted to the Utah State Bar. Jeff and his wife, Rachel, relish outdoor adventures with their three talented children.

Mr. Peck brings a wealth of experience to his service on the GFH-E Board, and as it’s General Counsel, where he facilitates important legal endeavors on behalf of the foundation and collaborating organizations. David is also an experienced global citizen, educator, and specialist for all GFH entities in International Relations and Cultures, having traveled, lived and taught abroad in Africa, Europe and Asia. Mr. Peck has a PhD focusing on History of the Modern Middle East, with additional studies in the history of classical Islamic civilization and Islam, and the history of modern Europe.
He was a Fulbright-Nehru Visiting Lecturer and faculty member at the University of Delhi. David and his wife, Rachel, also lived and studied in Cairo, Egypt and in Tunis, Tunisia. David also lived in Spain, serving as a missionary in the cities of Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada, Malaga, Jaén, Albacete, and Cartagena. Mr. Peck’s command of foreign languages includes Spanish (fluent), Arabic (Modern Standard, research), French (research), Italian (research), and German (research). As a skilled linguist, multi-cultural researcher and educator, he also enjoys connecting with various universities regarding the GFH-E Internship Program. David and Rachel are proud parents of five children and eight grandchildren.

In his role as Board Treasurer for GFH-E, Mr. Carlston oversees the management and reporting of the Foundation’s finances, including financial reports, policies, and strong internal controls. He also serves with Grey Fox Holdings, LLC as Chief Financial Officer. Scott has an extensive and diverse background in finance and accounting spanning three decades. He has the ability to operate with ease and focus in high-stress situations. His financial experience includes owning and operating companies, consulting with large and small businesses, raising capital, serving as a director for a 501(c)(3) public charity, as well as underwriting large and small projects.
Mr. Carlston has successfully worked with different mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings, across varied industries. Scott has also enjoyed success in commercial real estate development. A recent project encompassed 106,000 square feet of commercial buildings from inception to completion, collaborating directly with city governments to obtain EDA and RDA funding. Mr. Carlston completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Utah State University, with a major in finance and a minor in accounting. Scott and his wife, Janelle, have three children, who enjoy skiing, golfing and boating together as a family.

Dr. Linda Bradford brings a lifetime of experience to the GFH-E Board, focusing on Education and Technology. Linda has a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s degree in art education, and a PhD in instructional technology. She is an accomplished educator, technologist, and visionary entrepreneur. She is the Founder of V.I.E.W. (Virtual Immersive Educational Worlds, Inc.), a groundbreaking company dedicated to transforming education through immersive, AI-driven learning platforms. For over 16 years, Dr. Bradford has led engineering and creative teams in developing innovations like FluentWorlds and Quiklearn, much of that time also acting as the CEO. V.I.E.W. products offer contextual, 3D learning environments that make education more engaging and effective.
Linda was a professor of Art Education at Brigham Young University for 11 years, so she brings deep insight into how students learn most effectively through visual interaction. She is passionate about helping students reach their full potential through personalized, tech-powered education. Currently, she serves as Chief Visionary, Chief Product Officer, and Chief Evangelist at V.I.E.W. Linda is married to David Bradford, President of V.I.E.W. and a Utah Technology Hall of Fame inductee. She and David are the proud parents of four children, three children-in-law, and 17 grandchildren, who bring them great joy.

As the GFH-E Board Member specializing in Health, Dr. Rubenfeld brings over 30 years of experience domestically and internationally as an Anesthesiologist and Pain Management physician. He also brings wisdom from his endeavors as an investor and board member of several private companies. Phil is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and is a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP).
Dr. Rubenfeld served as Past Chairman of the Anesthesia Department at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, N.J. and is currently in private practice in Morristown, NJ, specializing in interventional pain management with expertise in spinal cord stimulation. Dr. Rubenfeld did his residency in anesthesiology at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital of Boston, earned his MD degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, Mexico, and his BA degree in Biological Science from Rutgers College. Phil is fluent in Spanish and English, enjoys travel, golf and time with his family.

As CIO for GFH Entities, including GFH-E, Paul is responsible for aligning IT strategy with business goals, managing enterprise technology systems, ensuring cybersecurity, driving digital transformation, and delivering efficient, scalable IT solutions to support ISDF’s success.
Mr. Whitchurch is a seasoned, results-driven executive with extensive experience aligning strategic priorities, driving revenue growth, and fostering business transformation across diverse industries with a particular focus on technology. He excels in revitalizing organizational performance through process improvement, innovative solutions, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies. With a proven ability to tackle complex technical and business challenges, Paul is skilled in leading large-scale initiatives, including IT infrastructure modernization, data-driven strategy implementation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Having lived and worked in Latin America for nearly 20 years, Paul brings a global perspective to his work. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and proficient in Portuguese, enabling him to effectively navigate multicultural environments and cultivate international relationships. Paul holds a BA in Business Management and MBA from the University of Utah. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Mr. Miller is a veteran media producer and director who brings visionary leadership to GFH Endowment and all GFH entities. Mr. Miller is committed to creating compelling and inspiring content while implementing ‘new era’ distribution methods for maximum market reach and profitability across multiple entertainment genres. Greg and his core group are developing a new digital distribution platform with proprietary technology, secure communications and data functions not reliant on pre-existing pipelines.
Always pursuing creativity in light of technology, he was directly involved in early adoption of DVD and HD technologies. Mr. Miller has worked extensively in film, television and music for over 30 years including production/post-production services to Paramount Pictures, MGM, and Disney; and independents Pureflix Entertainment and Bagdasarian Productions. Film and television credits include Cheers, Frasier, Beauty and the Beast, Alvin and the Chipmunks. Music credits include the Beatles, Robin Gibb (Bee Gees) and Larry Dunn (Earth Wind & Fire). Greg has created television shows purchased by Discovery Channel and Newline Television, and with deep connections to big names in adventure sports, Greg’s newest productions in development include a humanitarian-focused series called WILD & WILLING and an adventure-competition series called DUDEMAN JOE.

As Chair for one of GFH-E’s 501c3 partner organizations, Waterfall Humanitarian Foundation (“WHF”), Mr. Harris is responsible for the mission, vision, and direction of humanitarian endeavors in Venezuela. He collaborates with various organizations to meet urgent needs for the people of Venezuela, as well as to further sustainable development in concert with the United Nations 17 Point Plan. He founded WHF with the mission to “save, preserve and uplift” the people of Venezuela.
As Vice President for International Relations with GFH, John is responsible for drawing on his international diplomatic experience to facilitate valuable business relationships. John draws upon a solid foundation in business, finance, and social development efforts. He was Treasury Manager for IBM Venezuela and Senior Diplomat for the U.S. Commercial Service in Mexico, Chile, Brazil, and Israel. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and has lectured in several countries and languages on international business and economics.

As In-House Counsel for Grey Fox Holdings, LLC, Mr. Guthrie represents and provides counsel to leadership in all legal aspects of conducting business and works in concert with GFH-E General Counsel David Peck. Dru assists in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex agreements, and in managing relationships with outside counsel and partners. Dru is an attorney with over 30 years of experience representing private enterprises involving Energy, Real Estate, Project Start-up/Expansion in domestic and international markets.
Attorney Guthrie has coordinated compliance, negotiations, litigation, corporate policy, commercial transactions, intellectual property, and management strategy, including international business ventures in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Dru holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar.

As an Advisor to GFH Endowment, Mr. McGregor assists in cultivating relationships for synergistic partners and talented interns. Jim also serves as Portfolio Manager for GFH Energy and Natural Resources, focusing on efforts to redevelop non-performing energy and natural resource assets. Jim brings over 20 years of oil and gas expertise with skill sets in management and finance, asset acquisition, negotiations, and investor relations.
Mr. McGregor’s experience includes Managing Partner of Vast Energy, specializing in acquiring and developing undervalued or underdeveloped assets in energy and natural resources. Projects have included acquisition and development of five non-producing assets in Kansas, drilling 71 producing oil wells; financing and acquisition of several producing oil assets from Vanguard Energy Corporation in Texas; Bakken Hunter and Jayhawk Energy, Inc. in North Dakota. Mr. McGregor was also Managing Partner of Current Energy Partners, focusing on coalbed methane in Wyoming, acquiring several gas fields and managing 1,600 wellbores with 155,000 net mineral acres. Mr. McGregor’s bachelor’s degree is from the University of Utah.

Mr. Carlson oversees infrastructure and real estate development for GFH entities, including opportunities involving GFH Endowment. He draws on a wealth of experience in construction, engineering and management expertise with large commercial structures, industrial buildings, and residential projects. Bart has over 35 years of experience in real estate, construction and demolition, civil and structural engineering, architecture, project management, estimating, marketing, and environmental services. He currently owns and manages Yukon Construction, which builds some of the most exclusive residential properties in Utah.
His construction/management expertise ranges from large commercial structures to industrial buildings and high-end residential projects. Mr. Carlson is licensed in Real Estate and as a General Contractor. He has as extensive knowledge of construction laws, techniques for controlling subcontractors, schedules, and costs. His environmental expertise includes asbestos and soils, site investigations, air monitoring, engineering aboveground tanks for petroleum products, and water.
